The 'Dryades' hotel, with a capacity of 17 rooms and all the  catering and hospitality facilities visitors expect, providing particular care for people with special needs, is located 3 kms outside Naoussa, in an area of exceptional natural beauty, close to the Grove of Agios Nikolaos.  Just 15 kms from the '3-5 Pigadia' ski resort, Dryades is close to the School of Aristotle, the Macedonian Tombs of the Lefkadians and the ancient theatre of Miezas, as well as the famous Macedonian tombs, the Palace and the archaelogical site of Vergina.

The investment for the creation of the whole hotel complex, in a neo-classical style, is part of the Integrated Programme for Rural Development (IPRD) of East Vermion and received funding of €227,339 under the Regional Operational Programme of Central Macedonia. The provision of incentives for alternative income sources, outside farming, for local people and for young people in particular, the reduction of underemployment and the retention of the local population, were the general goals to which this investment contributed, in order to be approved for funding.

The completion of the investment project gives rise to a series of benefits for the area, contributing to the growth of the tourism 'product' and strengthening the local economy in general, as well as raising the 'visitability' and promoting the particular comparative advantages of the area, providing motivation for the creation of collective structures and networks, with the aim of exploiting the excellent potential for agritourism, in the County of Imathia.
