The investment for the creation of 'Leventis Art Suites', a 4-key category holiday accommodation, consisting of 9 independent, furnished studios, was financed by the ROP of Central Macedonia with 221.471 Euros, in the context of the Integrated Programme for the Development of the Rural Area of Vora-Vegoritida.

The accommodation is located in Panagitsa in the Pella Prefecture, close to the Vora (Kaimaktsalan) ski resort, the Vegoritida Lake, the spa waters of Loutraki (Pozar), as well as the archeological site of ancient Pella. In addition to accommodation and catering, the complex also disposes of areas to host art exhibitions, seminars and other events, a meeting hall for 80 people and a museum of cameras and photographic equipment, exhibiting 500 items dated between 1890 and 1960.

The creation and operation of the Unit is based on a series of competitive advantages, such as: the means of construction, the particular architectural characteristics, the interior decoration (murals and artwork on the ceilings), collectible artworks and objects, together with high quality service and an emphasis on culture. The artistic expression of the owners combines with high quality services, to create a facility characterised by a particular, almost theatrical, atmosphere.

The completion of the investment has brought significant benefits to the area, such as the increase of local economy’s competitiveness, creation of jobs, promotion of a high-quality tourism 'product' and the ability to attract more visitors to the area. The creation and operation of the 'Leventis Art Suites' constitutes a model for the implementation of similar investments, with the aim of highlighting and exploiting the potential for agri-tourism offered in the Region of Central Macedonia.
